US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires a limited U.S. Customs power of attorney to be in place before we can discuss sensitive information, which means that we already need to be legally empowered before we can talk about every fine detail about your products and freighting plans. To make a formal relationship, we need you to empower our relationship for CBP specifying who, as the U.S. Importer of Record (IOR)/[You], and Pilotfisch for your U.S. Customs business. Afterward, our terms and condition establish expectations for working together after we have been empowered to do so. We need you, the U.S. Importer of Record (IOR), to review and complete the following documents to identify yourself and agree to work together at the necessary, compliant, international trade standards. The signing officer, or similarly-empowered individual, will need to present a government-issued ID. Pilotfisch needs to collect a photograph or scan of that same ID to satisfy CBP and other Partnering Government Agency (PGA) vetting requirements.
